Sick and better

Lately I haven't been up to that much. For the past month I've had this terrible cold that just wouldn't leave me alone. Going to the doctor they put a face mask on me! Was kind of worried they suspected I had Ebola or something!
Anyways, after some antibiotics I'm feeling better so this weekend I was at nice house party in Bel Air and went to night club AV with Emma (bathroom pics are the best!).
It has actually been raining all weekend, but it's usually nice and sunny and not for a heartbeat do I regret moving here! :)

Fun

Del Mar Beach

I couple of weeks ago I went to hang out with Chelsea and her friends at Del Mar Beach Resort at Camp Pendleton. Me and Chels haven't seen each other for 7 years, so it was really great to hang out with her. Unfortunately I got a really bad cold and was walking around with a toilet roll blowing my nose the whole time, but it was still fun!

Halloween 2

On the Saturday I was Green Lantern after all! Told you I was looking at options. Yes, it's body paint!
I was highly uncomfortable the whole time and considered just washing it off and putting on something else, but after getting painted for three hours I decided to just go with it! The professional bodypainter was soo sweet and the process itself was actually kind of fun.
Do I regret it? No, not really.
Would I do it again? NOPE, hahaha!!!

Halloween 1

Halloween turned out to be quite alright after all!! The Friday was spent with my girls, with the addition of darling Evelina from back home, at Castle Ivar in Hollywood. Amazing place and great party hosted by Oskar Rivera. Max Ryan and his friend Brian found us there, and then we all went to The Roosevelt! Love how crazy people get with their outfits, Gregg was the Dictator!!

Veckan

Vad har jag pysslat med i veckan då?
I fredags hoppade jag i poolen på en fest i Bel Air! :) Fear not, alla hade redan gått hem och jag var ensam i poolen! Skön avslutning på en stressig vecka!
På ett födelsedagskalas i lördags lekte jag lady in red! Härligt med en fest med "normala" människor utan det ytliga Hollywood glammet, som blir rätt tröttsamt.
Så fick jag hem min Green Lantern kostym till Halloween, som såklart inte alls såg ut som på bilden! :( Så nu kikar jag på andra alternativ.
Oooooooch, sista midterm för den här omgången avklarat! Jehooo! Så nu sitter jag och gör inget en stund, utan stress eller ångest! Projekt och essays får vänta, idag är en avslappningens dag har jag bestämt! :)

Halloween helgen blir inte som tänkt för mig, men förhoppningsvis blir det bra ändå!

And bottom right, me at Bootsy Bellows! Sometimes David Arquette is a puppeteer there, but I have no idea if it was this time, the puppet was so cute that I forgot to check. :)

Weekend

Flat

I wouldn't recommend getting a flat on the freeway. Apparently quite dangerous, but we got out of there ok :) Oh, my new car btw, had to switch to a black Kia. Me no mind :)

Friday was one of the hottest days so far, so Huntington Beach seemed like a good idea :)

Usually where ever you go in the US there are squirrels, but not here! Here we have baby bunny rabbits!! And lots of them :)

Spelling

There have been complaints about my spelling in this blog, and rightly so! As you might have noticed the blog is not really being prioritized at the moment, and most posts are made on the go from my IPhone. More often than not my fingers slip, and I don't have time to go back and double check.

Those of you who know and love me know that I'm not a complete illiterate and that's enough for me :D

I do however promise to look it over when I have the chance to spare you from the annoyance of my misspelling. :)

Now, last class of the day, in school to 10pm today.

Classes

Yaaaay, I've got all the classes I wanted!!! I WOULD like to switch the MoWe Psych to a TuTh, then I only have to be at the Uni two days a week, but I can live with this if that's not possible. At least I have Fridays off :D

Playhouse

On Friday, we ran in to Josh. He was a bit concerned that the Swedish team might get into trouble, so he took us out to Playhouse in Hollywood and showed us a good time! Great night, and really nice to have made even more new friends!

Swedes

I've been so lucky since I got here, I have met the best people to hang out with!

The two girls on the sides are Nina and Emma. We go to school together and are neighbors! Cutest girls ever!!
And just a couple of days ago Fancy arrived!! She is so lucky, she got an internship at a firm working with marketing and events! She is staying with me until she finds her own place, and we have all been having a pretty good time together :)

Laguna

In the middle of figuring everything out, we've had time to stop for an hour here and there to check out the closest beaches. Newport is fantastic (I want to move there!!) and Laguna has awesome waves!

Hopefully soon I'll have time for a whole day at the beach, just chillin.

Car

So, last week I bought a car, yaaaaay!!!! Unfortunately there are som issues with the registration, so I haven't been able to drive it since Friday! Booooo!!! I'm hoping to that sorted out this week though.

Kia Sportage, 2002! Will do just fine :)!!

Burger

So everyone has been telling me these are the best burgers around. Not sure I agree, but at least I have tried it :)

After a first look at some crappy cars we drove down to Newport Beach, it is the coolest place!! Need to get me a beach house there :)

Lucky

Looks like my lederhosen roommates are expecting to get lucky!! :D

Car

So, I'm shopping around for a car! We are totally isolated without a ride, I walked for like three hours just to get my new phone the other day! That will not be happening again! So looking at the budget, I think the above will be a good option... Not!! :)
Going to a good place tomorrow where they sell great cars really cheap to students, with the option of buying it back once the semester is done. So, it won't be this car. For sure.
